Frequently Asked Questions:
Qn: I don't have any experience in yoga. Ans: No prior experience is needed. Classes created for moms (such as Prenatal, Postnatal, MommaBaby yoga), are specifically designed with poses that are tailored to build, strengthen and tone a woman, before or after delivery. These poses are easy to learn yet very effective to be done at home, with or without baby.
Qn:What should I do for my baby before class? Ans: Do try to feed baby before the class starts. Come by around 10mins earlier to settle yourself and baby (such as feeding, changing diaper, relaxing)
Qn: What if my baby is asleep or falls asleep in class? Ans: You may place baby in her seat carrier or on the mat and mommy will carry on with class. If you would like to hold baby and observe the class, that is absolutely fine too.
Qn: My baby is crying for milk/sleep? Ans: Go with baby's flow and feed the baby as needed or to put her to sleep. You may feed baby on your mat (latch or bottle) whilst you observe the class and catch up once baby is done and still awake. If baby needs to sleep, go ahead and be comfortable in your usual routine of putting baby to sleep.
Qn: My baby needs a change of diaper. Ans: Kindly proceed to change baby and you can catch up with the class.
Qn: My baby needs to be comforted. Ans: Hold the baby and do what is necessary for you and your baby. I will also come by and help mommy out with the baby so that mommy is able to do the exercises.
Qn: Are the dads allowed in class? Ans: Depending on the respective class arranged. If the class is strictly for moms and babies, no men are allowed as the specific workshop is created for mom and baby to feel comfortable and safe.
